AGCAS and NASES are continuing to provide a range of one day courses and other training opportunities for HE careers and employment professionals to support them in their work with internationals students. This is an increasingly important part of their work and not without its challenges in these increasingly difficult economic times.

These training days focus on particular aspects of helping students to understand the labour market in the UK and abroad, gain part-time employment in the UK, and to develop their employability skills. Participants hear about the PMI2 funded projects being undertaken by AGCAS and NASES and other projects being carried out at institutional level and national level.

The NASES Conference in early July 2010 provided delegates with a number of opportunities to hear about and share experiences about different projects and aspects of work with international students. These incuded a workshop on the AGCAS/NASES visit to India and plenary and workshop sessions providing a general PMI2 Update.
