The majority of universities and some colleges now have a dedicated student employment service, or job shop, to help their students find part-time, temporary and vacation work that fits in with their academic study. As well as advertising vacancies, job shops may offer additional recruitment services such as agency temps, direct targeting via email or texts, short-listing, hosting of jobs fairs or provision of interview space.
