The nomination must be judged (either by the job shop at institutional level or adjudicated by the head judge) to be of sufficient quality in order for the student to receive an award.

-
Although students may be nominated in more than one category each nomination is treated individually. It is not possible to combine multiple nominations for the same person after submission. It is recommended that, should a student work in several areas at the same time (e.g. through an on campus ‘temp bank’ or agency) that the nominating employers coordinate to produce a single nomination. Please note that nominations of this kind must still be submitted by a single named nominator.
-

-
Closing date for online nominations is 5pm, 13 April 2012. Online nominations received after this time may not be entered to the competition.
-

Special notes for Jobshop category
-
Nominations in this category must be from representatives of NASES member job shops/student employment services.
-
Nominations in this category are only eligible for students who have worked directly for the job shop/employment service as either a student staff member or as a member of an on campus ‘temp bank’ or agency.
-
Students employed as part of a ‘temp bank’ should only be nominated in this category if they have not been employed in any single position on campus for periods longer than two weeks.
-
Those working for longer periods should be nominated by their employer in the on-campus category. It is recommended that those nominating temp bank students coordinate input/feedback from employers to produce a single nomination.

Other terms and conditions
-
NASES member employment services are responsible for coordinating their own institutional judging. Institutional judging panels must consist of at least three judges (examples of judges may include Careers Advisors / Student Services / Students’ Union Representatives / Heads of Department or Employer representatives) and should not include NASES members from services that have received nominations. However, should an institution not receive any nominations in any category their NASES members would be eligible to judge nominations at an institutional, regional or national level.
-
All nominations will be checked and their validity/eligibility verified before being accepted to the competition. As such any statement made by NASES about number of applications received for each institution are said to be provisional until final verified numbers are issued after nominations have closed. Please note numbers may go up or down after verification.
-
NASES member student employment services will receive email confirmation when a nomination is made from a student/employer through their institution. It is the responsibility of the member service to alert NASES if there are any concerns with eligibility of nominations at this stage.
